Short hair and one of my favorite quotes:)

So, for those of you who don't have facebook and wanted to see my VERY short hair...here it is. Sorry it has taken so long to post...About once a day I regret cutting it, but for the most part I like it:) It's easier, lighter, freeing, and I feel like a new woman!
Here's the quote that I wrote down years and years ago, but came across it tonight, precisely a time when I needed to read it again and be reminded of its truth:
" Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn't serve the world. There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We were born to manifest the glory of God within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."

  3. Carrie, that is seriously one of my favorite quotes!!! It's so easy to belittle ourselves and so hard to compliment ourselves sometimes!! I hope you know that you are AMAZING and BEAUTIFUL in so many ways!! I love you!

  4. My mom just made me a wall hanging with that on it. I have always loved it. They had it in the center for change and I remember hearing it right before I went in. It has kind of been the theme of my life. I love it! oh, and I love the short hair. :)
